Thiruvananthapuram: The capital city is all set to witness the wedding of mayor Arya Rajendran and Balussery MLA Sachin Dev. The duo will tie the knot on September 4 at AKG hall. Arya has penned a wedding invitation on her Facebook page as only a few days are left for the wedding.

Interestingly, the Mayor's wedding invitation impressed the netizens as she said no to gifts at her wedding.

"We have invited maximum people in person. If we missed anyone, we request them to consider this post as an invitation and attend the function with family," wrote Arya.

"We will not accept gifts. Those who want to give gifts to us are requested to make donations to homes of destitute or Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund," read the Mayor's post.
