Thiruvananthapuram: The Revenue Department has clarified that there have been no complaints, even verbal, received against Naveen Babu, the former ADM of Kannur. They further stated that no complaints have been received either through the Chief Minister’s Grievance Redressal Cell or through other official channels.
Complaints submitted online via the Chief Minister’s Grievance Redressal Cell are typically forwarded to the relevant departments immediately. A directive had been issued that a decision must be made within two weeks, and the applicant should be informed. The Revenue Department reiterated that no complaints have been received against Naveen in this manner.
However, there is also no clarity from the Chief Minister's Office regarding whether any individual has lodged a personal complaint against Naveen Babu via WhatsApp to any senior official. The current procedure is to pass on such information from the public to the department concerned or Vigilance for investigation.
Therefore, it appears that the statement made by the petrol pump applicant, Prashanth, claiming to have submitted a complaint to the Chief Minister against the ADM, needs to be verified for its authenticity.
