Railways announces revised schedule for Nilambur MEMU. Passengers can catch connecting trains from Shoranur with enhanced convenience from Wednesday.

Nilambur: The Nilambur–Shoranur MEMU train will run 30 minutes earlier starting Wednesday. The change is being made to provide better early-morning train connections from Shoranur Junction.
As per the new schedule, Train Numbers 66325/66324 will now depart Nilambur at 3.10 am instead of 3.40 am. The train will reach Shoranur by 4.20 am.
Passengers who continue on the same MEMU train can travel further towards Kannur, with stops at several major stations including Pattambi, Kuttipuram, Thirunavaya, Tirur, Tanur, Parappanangadi, Vallikkunnu, Feroke, Kozhikode, Koyilandy, Vadakara, Mahe, Thalassery, and finally Kannur, arriving by 9.00 am.
Improved connections from Shoranur
The revised timing will allow passengers to connect to two key early-morning trains from Shoranur:
66319 Shoranur–Ernakulam–Alappuzha MEMU, departs at 4.30 am
22638 Chennai–West Coast Express, departs at 4.50 am
This is expected to benefit long-distance travellers heading towards Ernakulam, Alappuzha, or even Chennai.
