Kozhikode: The new flyover at Ramanattukara, part of the six-lane Kozhikode bypass, is set to be completed by the end of August.
The final concreting on two spans of the flyover is expected to be finished within a week.

The second flyover is adjacent to the flyover inaugurated on December 28, 2018, at bypass junction.
This upcoming flyover spans 440 metres in length and 14.5 metres in width, supported by 15 piers and 14 spans. At the junction, steel girders have been used for the two spans, adhering to the guidelines of the National Highway Authority.
The construction of the flyover commenced in January 2022.
The construction of approach roads on both sides of the flyover has begun. These roads are currently being filled with soil. The flyover will be open for traffic soon.
Development of the 28.4 km stretch between Ramanattukara and Vengalam of the NH 66 is still progressing.
