Pathanamthitta: The family of the late ADM Naveen Babu has declined to accept a letter from Kannur District Collector Arun K Vijayan. Manjusha, Naveen Babu's wife, informed G. Akhil, the district secretary of the CPI-affiliated Joint Council, about the family's decision. Akhil also stated that the family is seeking legal assistance regarding the controversial case.
Naveen Babu's family had previously expressed their disagreement with the Collector's intention to attend the funeral rites. Following this, the Collector's letter was handed over to the family through the Pathanamthitta Sub-Collector. However, the letter did not carry an official seal.
