Balussery Police has dispatched a team to Mysuru after a missing Grade ASI from Mukkam police station was tracked via his mobile phone location.

Kozhikode (Kerala): The Balussery Police has launched an intensive investigation following a missing person's report filed for a Grade Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) attached to the Mukkam police station. The missing official has been identified as Abdul Rasheed, a resident of Balussery, who has been untraceable since Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Rasheed left his residence on a motorcycle with his daughter at around 6.30 am, dropping her off at the Balussery bus stand. However, he failed to report for duty at the Mukkam police station and did not return home afterwards.
As part of the ongoing probe, police scanned local CCTV footage, which captured Rasheed riding his motorcycle as far as Thachampoyil. His movements beyond that point remain unclear. Following his disappearance, the Balussery police officially registered a case and initiated a tracking operation based on his mobile phone data.
Preliminary tracking data revealed that Abdul Rasheed’s mobile phone location was active in Mysuru, Karnataka. Acting on this crucial lead, a special team from the Balussery police department has departed for Mysuru to track him down.
