Thiruvananthapuram: Former gunman of UAE consulate Jayaghosh who left home leaving a note has returned in the wee hours of Thursday. He came back to his residence at Kuzhivila here by 1.30 am.

Jayaghosh told relatives that he went to Palani. The police will record his statement at his residence. The relatives had filed a missing complaint at Thumba police station. He returned while the police were searching for him.

Jayaghosh went missing on Tuesday afternoon after dropping his wife at her workplace in the morning in his scooter. He left after leaving his vehicle and mobile phone near Nemom police station.

The police had found a note on the scooter stating he is leaving the place due to severe stress. Earlier, Jayaghosh had gone missing on July 16 last year during the investigation of gold smuggling case. However, he was found later from a bushy area near his house.
