Thiruvananthapuram: A photo moment scene from Malayalam movie Bheeshma Parvam directed by Amal Neerad, starring Mammootty, in which the actor says “Chambiko” (which translates loosely to click the photo) and pause for a group photo has been recreated by many netizens of Malayali diaspora. Even celebrities and people in key positions are recreating this photo moment while taking group photos. Some of the recreation attempts are viral too.

Now, with the caption “Trendinoppam (following the trend) …Chambiko”, Kerala education minister V Sivankutty has shared a video on his Facebook handle, showcasing his recreation of the scene. The visual is of a public event he attended. Interestingly, CPM veteran P Jayarajan’s ‘Chambiko’ photo moment video was viral. Sivankutty’s video comes amid this.
