Meta suspends viral 'Kutty Sakhavu' Instagram handle run by eight-year-old Muhammed Siyan shortly after his video crossed two million views.

Tirur (Kerala): “This is our party office... and the guy in the red shirt is our Balasangham president!” With that infectious charm, Muhammed Siyan’s video swept across social media, amassing over two million views in just 24 hours. However, the internet sensation’s viral run was abruptly cut short when Meta suspended his famous ‘Kutty Sakhavu’ (Little Comrade) Instagram account.
The short video, which kicked off with Siyan’s spirited greeting, “Comrades, how’s it going? All good?”, showcased the youngster introducing the local president and secretary of his Balasangham unit before wrapping up with a ringing shout of “Lal Salaam!”
The clip struck such a chord that even prominent political figures, including Leader of the Opposition Pinarayi Vijayan and CPM MLA and former minister PA Mohamed Riyas, dropped comments under the post.
Meta’s sudden crackdown on the account shortly after it caught the attention of high-profile leaders has sparked widespread outrage online, with users questioning why an eight-year-old child's innocent enthusiasm should face a social media ban.
Though Meta has yet to provide an official explanation for the suspension, Siyan’s family has submitted a formal appeal to recover the handle.
