Kerala has withdrawn the Plus One community quota admission link after reports revealed a violation of merit norms. The process will resume with the third allotment.

Kozhikode: The link for plus one community quota admission has been temporarily withdrawn. The community quota admission will now be held along with the third phase of the main allotment on June 16. The admission in the management and unaided quotas will also be held along with this.
This decision follows a report by Mathrubhumi, which highlighted violations of reservation norms when community quota admissions were conducted before the completion of the single-window merit-based process. This year, community quota admissions were held alongside the second phase of the main allotment.
The issue was that those who were supposed to get admission on merit were also included in the community quota. It was also a problem that those who got admission in this way could not later switch to better options or schools.
The withdrawal of the admission link was made in response to the Mathrubhumi report.
