Palarivattom: Film actor Manju Warrier visited Thrikkakara MLA Uma Thomas at her home, where the latter is currently recovering after a serious accident at Ernakulam's Kaloor Stadium. Uma Thomas, who was visibly pleased with the visit, expressed her happiness at seeing the star, while Manju Warrier, smiling, reassured her with a light-hearted "You look better now”. They both shared a warm hug.
Uma, who has been advised complete rest after the accident, addressed her ongoing health condition and shared her gratitude for the support she has received.
Earlier, renowned actor Mohanlal also visited Uma Thomas at her Palarivattom residence, accompanied by producer Antony Perumbavoor. Mohanlal's visit followed Uma’s discharge from the hospital after sustaining critical injuries from a fall at the International Stadium in December 2024.
Uma had been undergoing intensive care at Renai Medicity in Kochi for 47 days after the incident, which caused injuries to her head, spine, and lungs.
Following her discharge on February 15, 2025, doctors have advised Uma at least two and a half months of rest before resuming any normal activities.
