Kozhikode: KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran said that lots of concerns remain in the Manjeshwaram polling results. He suspected moves of a BJP-CPM nexus in Manjeshwaram and doubted an agreement with the CM to make K Surendran emerge victorious.
The CPM candidate in Manjeshwaram VV Rameshan has close links with the RSS. He is a man who works as a bridge between the CPM and BJP. The CPM activists did not engage actively in election campaigning in the constituency this time. Mullappally alleged that they were seen in the place just for namesake.
Mullappally alleged that CPM supporters would have discreetly cast their votes to the BJP. This is an agreement the party entered into. If the BJP state president enters the Assembly then the Lavalin case probed by the central agencies would be stopped, he alleged. Mullappally alleged that if the BJP did not interfere in the Lavalin case then chances of the case going against the chief minister are more.
