Kollam: A courtroom in Kollam encountered a brief moment of confusion when David Raja, a 43-year-old man from Tirunelveli, dashed into the witness box with a bleeding wound. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 AM on Thursday at the Punalur Judicial First Class Court II.

Raja entered the courtroom visibly bleeding from a head wound, just as the court proceedings were about to commence. Upon making disruptive noises while standing in the witness box, police swiftly intervened.

The authorities took Raja into custody and took him to the Punalur Taluk Hospital. Police said that he is suspected to be mentally unsound. The circumstances surrounding his injury remain unclear, and the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
