Chennai: Southern Railway has made changes in the timings of some trains due to the track maintenance works on Chennai-Jolarpettai route.
As per reports, the Chennai-Mangalore Mail (12601), which was scheduled to depart from Chennai Central at 8.10 pm on Wednesday, has been delayed by 1.5 hours and will depart at 9.40 pm.
The service will also be delayed by 1.15 hours on December 17, 24 and 31 and rescheduled at 9.25 pm, said the railway authorities.
The Prativara Express (22601) from Chennai Central to Sainagar Shirdi, earlier scheduled at 10.20 am, has been delayed by 1 hour and will depart at 11.20 am on Wednesday.
The service will be delayed by 2 hours on December 21 and 28 too.
Meanwhile, the MEMU train (06417-06418) from Katpadi junction to Jolarpettai has been cancelled on December 14, 19, 21, 24, 26 and 28.
