Thiruvananthapuram: The results of recently held bypolls to 33 local body wards in Kerala were declared on Wednesday. 

According to the state election commission's website, UDF won 17 seats and had the upper hand in the bypolls.  

LDF won 10 seats. NDA (BJP) won four seats, while Other parties managed to win two seats. 

72.21 percent of people cast their votes in the polling held on December 12. 

The by-elections were held for one district panchayat, five block panchayats, three municipalities, and 24 gram panchayat wards in 14 districts.
