Iritty: Iritty joint RTO suspended the licences of a private bus driver and conductor for a month for not stopping the bus at the designated stop where a class 12 girl student had to alight.
The complaint was filed by a student, a native of Perumparamba, and who is studying at the Iritty higher secondary school. The action against the bus employees was initiated by Iritty joint RTO B Saju.
Licences of driver Hareendran and conductor Liju were suspended in the incident. They were employees in the ‘Vimal’ bus which plied on the stretch between Iritty-Sreekandapuram.
The incident pertaining to the complaint happened yesterday. The girl who was on her way back home was dropped in a deserted area which was 3 kms away from the Perumparamba bus stop where she was actually supposed to alight.
