Kasaragod: Five Congress party workers have been removed from office bearers' roles over laxity in campaigning activities and raising funds for the ‘Samaragni’ protest march.
KPCC President K. Sudhakaran took action against K.P Balakrishnan, President of the Kanhangad mandalam committee, Ravi Pujari, President of the Kumbala mandalam committee, Babu Bandiodu, President of Mangalpady mandalam committee, Mohan Rai, President of Paivalike mandalam and Moitheen Kunju, President of Madikai constituency.
Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) will begin its ‘Samaragni’ protest march on Monday. KPCC has projected the ‘Samaragni’ protest march as a move to call out, expose, and impeach state and central governments.
The complaint against them is that the door-to-door campaign was not carried out effectively. There was a failure in collecting the suggested amount from the booths, reports say.
