Palakkad: Members of Kudumbashree to draw plans for various housing schemes run by the state corporation. Educated people among the members of Kudumbashree or people working in auxiliary groups in a Kudumbashree model will be chosen to run the Plan Facilitation Centers.

People who hold a degree or diploma in B.Tech. in civil engineering will be appointed to these plan facilitation centers. Existing IT units (empanelled licensees with a degree or diploma in B.tech.) and service centers will be converted into Plan Facilitation Centers.

The responsibility of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) (PMAY-U) Life Bhavana schemes currently lies with the Kudumbashree. In the initial phase, plan facilitation centers will be set up in city corporations. This service will be provided to those who plan to construct houses independently, as well as to those who build houses with the help of government housing schemes.
