Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has won UITP (International Association of Public Transport) award at global public transport summit held in Barcelona, Spain. The special award was received by Biju Prabhakar IAS, CMD, KSRTC.
The transport corporation received the award for the slew of reforms introduced over the last 3 years. East Japan Railway Company and Beijing Public Transport Corporation were among the other prominent winners in the event held on June 5. The three-day summit will conclude on June 7.

“Such awards will serve as an inspiration for KSRTC in its future endeavours,” said Biju Prabhakar, expressing his happiness over receiving the award on behalf of the transport corporation.
