Kannur: Planning a getaway for the summer holidays? The KSRTC Budget Tourism Cell here has rolled out an exciting lineup of tour packages for April, covering everything from the sun-soaked beaches of Goa to the misty trails of Gavi and Wayanad.

For those craving a coastal escape, a special Goa package is scheduled for April 10 and 24. The bus departs Kannur at 6.00 pm and returns by 8.00 am on March 13 and 27, respectively. The itinerary includes iconic spots like Aguada Fort, Calangute, Anjuna and Vagator beaches on the first day, followed by Panjim City, Miramar Beach, historic Goan churches and Dona Paula Jetty on the second.
If you fancy a taste of luxury, the Nefertiti Cruise package on April 2 is a perfect choice. Leaving Kannur at 5.30 am, travelers will reach Kochi by the afternoon to board the luxury vessel for a four-hour voyage into the deep sea, enjoying all the premium facilities on board before returning to Kannur the following morning.
Spiritual and hill station retreats
A dedicated Guruvayur trip is set for April 7, covering the Pisharikavu and Kadampuzha temples and the Punnathur Kotta elephant sanctuary.
