Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala State Road Transport Employees Association (KSRTEA-CITU) working president CK Harikrishnan scoffed that transport minister Antony Raju should not endure KSRTC CMD Biju Prabhakar just as Vikramaditya carried Vetala.
He was speaking at the association's demonstration in front of the KSRTC chief’s office against the decision to dispense salaries in installments.
Antony Raju had said that employees should cooperate with the initiatives resorted for the survival of the corporation. CITU has been holding protests after being irked by the statements of the minister. He had also assured to convene meetings with the employees unions if necessary.
A letter signed by over 10,000 employees was submitted to the chief minister against KSRTC’s decision to dispense salaries in installments.
Minister Antony Raju has assured to convene talks between employees' unions this week in view of intensifying protests.
