
Pampa: A moving KSRTC bus caught fire early on Sunday early morning on the Sabarimala pilgrimage route. There were no injuries reported.
The incident occurred around 5:30 am, when the bus was en route from Pampa to Nilakkal. The driver noticed smoke coming out of the bus and immediately stopped the vehicle, which was empty at the time, as it was scheduled to pick up pilgrims at the Nilakkal stop.
Fire rescue teams from Pampa and Nilakkal swiftly responded to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control. The bus was partially damaged in the blaze.
Following the incident, A Ajikumar, a member of the Devaswom Board, visited the site to assess the situation.
