Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has decided to use artificial intelligence (AI) technology for the examination of the certificates submitted by the candidates.

Currently, the qualification and experience certificates uploaded to the PSC website by the candidates are examined by officials. As this manual task is often delayed, the PSC is planning to rely on AI. Hence, AI technology is expected to take over the job of the certificate examination soon.

The project will be aided by the Digital University of Kerala. PSC chairman Dr MR Baiju has held talks with university Vice-Chancellor Dr Saji Gopinath in this regard.

Meanwhile, the PSC notifications for recruitment into 63 posts, including women police constables and constables in the police band unit, will be published in the Gazette on December 30.
Candidates can submit their applications till February 1, 2023.

Online exams will be held for the posts of higher secondary school teacher (Sociology), Ayurveda medical officer, non-vocational teacher in vocational higher secondary, and staff nurse among others.
