Kozhikode: Police have nabbed two in connection with an attack on a householder.

Roopesh (18), a resident of Kakkodi, and a minor boy are the ones nabbed. Two others involved in the case are absconding.

The incident pertaining to the case happened on June 11, when a four-member gang barged into Sreejith’s house and brutally beat him up in front of his son. The Chevayur police said that the miscreants vented their anger on the victim after he had questioned them for rash and negligent driving in front of his house. 

Culprits were under the radar of the investigation team led by Chevayur SI Nibhin K Divakarkarn. The minor boy who was held in the case was let off, after serving a legal notice to his parents. 

The gang members were found to be regular offenders who were involved in vehicle thefts, and drug dealings. Medical College Police Station assistant commissioner K Sudarshan assured that the remaining accused in the case will be arrested soon.
