Kozhikode: A bike rider who crashed into a lorry parked carelessly on the roadside will be eligible for a compensation of Rs 90 lakhs. The incident happened two years ago in 2021. Adam Nassar, a Thurayoor native, met with the accident as his bike hit on the backside of a goods carrying lorry which was parked on the roadside without switching on the parking lights or following any other precautions.    

Vadakara Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal judge K Ramakrishnan ruled a compensation of Rs 90 lakh for the victim in the case. The money is expected to cover Nassar’s court expenses and his financial liabilities related to the case.
