Kozhikode: Barely months after being ranked 11th among the world’s top 150 restaurants in TasteAtlas, an experiential travel online guide, Kozhikode’s Paragon Restaurant has now bettered its ranking.  

Paragon is currently placed fifth, with tremendous praise lavished on the restaurant's Biryani. 

"Paragon in Kozhikode, Kerala, is an emblem of the region's rich gastronomic history, celebrated for its mastery of traditional Malabar cuisine. The dish that reigns supreme is the biryani, a blend of rice, meat, and spices, steeped in age-old traditions and prepared with locally sourced ingredients," says TasteAtlas in its rankings. 

In the latest ranking, two Indian restaurants --Paragon in Kozhikode and Tunday Kababi in Lucknow-- have made it to the top six.
