Kozhikode: Two medical trainees at the Kozhikode Medical College have been tested positive for COVID-19.

The duo, who returned to Kozhikode from Delhi by train, are suspected to have developed the disease through contact with COVID-19 patients travelling in the train. Attendees of the Tablighi Jamaat conference at Nizamuddin in Delhi were travelling in the train. It will be examined whether the students contacted the disease from them.

The route map of the students is being prepared. Based on the route map, it can be confirmed how the students contacted the disease. However, the Kozhikode DMO is yet to confirm this. An official confirmation in this regard will be made in the evening.
