Thiruvananthapuram: MP Kodikunnil Suresh made a controversial remark against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The MP said that if Pinarayi Vijayan was a renaissance leader, his daughter should have married a man belonging to Scheduled Caste. Kodikunnil Suresh further alleged that the chief minister appointed his loyal aide to control a minister who belonged to Scheduled Caste.
These controversial remark was made by the MP during a dharna staged demanding CBI probe into SC/ST fund scam. He first alleged that the chief minister is discriminating against the backward communities and pointed out certain matters to validate his statement.
The people of Scheduled Caste are being avoided in cabinet and from PSC appointments, Kodikunnil Suresh alleged. He also referred to the appointment of A Sampath as the private secretary of Devaswom minister K Radhakrishnan. He added that the CM should have married off his daughter to a SC man, if his concept of renaissance was genuine.
