Kochi: The seventh edition of the SBI Kochi Navy Half Marathon (KNHM) will be held on December 13, 2026, at Bolgatty Palace in Kochi, the Southern Naval Command announced on Saturday, September 19.

The event will feature three race categories, including a 21.1 km half marathon, 10 km timed run and 5 km fun run, allowing participation across different age groups and fitness levels.

State Bank of India is the title sponsor of this year's edition. The organisers said the partnership is aimed at expanding the reach of the event's message on fitness and healthy living.

Speaking at a press conference in Kochi, Rear Admiral Prakash Gopalan, Chief of Staff, Southern Naval Command, said the marathon is intended to promote an active lifestyle while strengthening the association between the Indian Navy and the people of Kochi and Kerala.

The organisers expect participation from schools, colleges, corporate organisations, running communities, fitness enthusiasts and runners from Kerala, neighbouring states and other parts of the country.

The event is also positioned as an opportunity for both experienced runners and first-time participants to take part in a large-scale sporting event in Kochi.
