Kochi: Charred body of an employee was found inside EVM Theatres at Perumbavoor. The deceased was identified as Tamil Nadu Tiruvannamalai native Manikandan (29).

The incident took place on Saturday by 7.30 pm. As per primary assumptions, the man was doused in petrol and set ablaze. A petrol can and lighter were found from near the body.

Manikandan has been working in the theatre for the last 8 years. More details regarding the cause of death are awaited.
