Aluva: In connection with the suicide of Mofiya Parveen, the investigation report against Circle Inspector Sudheer mentioned that there was no major lapses on his part in handling the complaint filed by the young woman. The report concluded this after observing how CI handled the complaint lodged by Mofiya before her death. Aluva DySP P Sivankutty is in charge of the investigation.

In a report filed on Tuesday night, the DySP gave a clean chit to the CI despite mounting pressure from the public to take legal action against him. However, SP K Karthik requested that a detailed investigation report be submitted as well.

The report submitted on Wednesday stated that there were only minor lapses on the part of the CI and that officer reprimanded Mofiya for slapping her husband in the station. The report was formulated by the DySP after speaking with the people who visited the police station on the day of the incident.
