The delay is due to pending film screenings and a special legislative assembly session . The venue change also considers the convenience of the Minister of Cinema and Culture . Jury chairman Prakash Raj has urgent travel plans to Bangalore, leading to the rescheduling. The 2024 awards are anticipated to be fiercely competitive in major categories, emphasizing the need for full jury participation.
