
Thrissur: Vidhya, sister of Vipin who had committed suicide over denial of a bank loan has got married to Nithin on Wednesday morning. The wedding was held at Paramekkavu Temple in Thrissur. The wedding was scheduled to take place on December 12 but was postponed after Vipin committed suicide on December 6. The couple will head to the groom’s house in Kaipamangalam after the wedding function.
Vipin (25), a native of Gandhinagar in Thrissur, had applied for a loan from a new generation bank by pledging his property documents to buy gold and wedding clothes for his sister’s marriage. The finance company informed him that they would sanction the loan and asked him to come to the bank on December 6 morning. He went to a jewellery shop with his mother and sister to buy gold for the wedding after getting information that his loan would be approved. After leaving his mother and sister at the Jewellery. Vipin left to the bank after assuring his family that he would come back with the money immediately.
However, he was informed by the bank that the loan could not be sanctioned. The mental stress caused by this led to his suicide. Vipin was found dead when his mother Baby and sister Vidya returned home after waiting for hours at the jewellery. The world came to know of this news through Mathrubhumi. Several people extended help to the family.
Nithin, the groom decided to go back to his workplace in Sharjah only after marrying Vidya. He will return to UAE by mid-January and will take Vidhya with him after a while.
