She admitted her actions were wrong and said she had already apologised to the staff on the same day.

A viral video of a woman passenger breaking a KSRTC bus window has triggered widespread debate on social media. The incident reportedly happened a few days ago.
It took place on a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) Superfast Premium bus near MIMS Hospital in Kozhikode. The woman asked the crew to stop the bus near the hospital so she could get down. However, the driver and conductor told her repeatedly that the premium service was not allowed to stop at that point.
Clash on board and damage to bus
As the argument continued, the woman started filming the staff on her phone. The situation escalated when she picked up the emergency hammer kept inside the bus and smashed the glass of the front door.
The video of the incident quickly went viral on social media. In the footage, she can be heard asking the bus to stop, while the staff respond that they cannot break route rules.
Online reactions have been divided. Some users have supported her, while a majority of comments have said her actions were wrong and unacceptable.
Police case, explanation and settlement
The matter was later taken to the police station. Officials reportedly released the woman after she agreed to pay for the damage caused to public property.
After the video spread widely online, she issued a statement explaining her side. She said she had an urgent need to use a bathroom at the time, which caused panic and mental pressure. She added that in that situation she felt she had no option and used the emergency tool.
She admitted her actions were wrong and said she had already apologised to the staff on the same day. She also said the issue was settled after she paid ₹28,000 to the transport corporation for the broken glass. She clarified that the driver and conductor were not held responsible.
She has urged people to stop sharing the video and memes, saying it is causing her mental distress.
