
Thiruvananthapuram: Senior IAS officers, including P B Nooh, Sriram Venkitaraman and Dr Adeela Abdullah, have been reassigned in a major reshuffle within the state's civil services.
P B Nooh, who served as the Chairman and Managing Director of Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited, has been appointed as the Special Secretary of the Transport Department. Dr Adeela Abdullah, previously the Director of the Agriculture Development and Farmers' Welfare Department, has been reassigned as the Special Secretary of the Social Justice Department.
Sriram Venkitaraman, who served as the Joint Secretary and Special Duty Officer in the Finance (Resources) Department, has been appointed as the Director of the Agriculture Development and Farmers' Welfare Department. He will continue to hold additional charge as the Managing Director of Kerala Financial Corporation until the end of this financial year.
Abdul Nasar B, who was the Director of Fisheries, has been transferred as the Special Secretary of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department. He will also hold full additional charge as the Special Secretary of the Minority Welfare Department and the Director of Fisheries.
Shibu E, who was the Additional Secretary of the Public Works Department, has been given full additional charge as the Managing Director of the Kerala State Pottery Manufacturing, Marketing and Welfare Development Corporation. Sudheer K, who was the Director of Collegiate Education, will now hold full additional charge as the Director of the Minority Welfare Department.
