New Delhi: In an attempt to improve its image, Pinarayi Government is coming up with a theatrical advertisement explaining Kerala's special achievements, administrative achievements and models in development and welfare activities. What more! The advertisement will be screened in five states.

The 90-second video will be screened in 100 theaters in urban areas of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi, which have a large Malayali presence.

The theatrical advertisement is being readied against the backdrop of the dimming of the Left wing and the CPM nationwide post Lok Sabha elections. The advertisement will explain the 'Kerala model' of development. It has been decided to assign PRD's empaneled agencies, Cube, which screens movies in theaters via satellite link, and UFOs for the same.

An amount of Rs 162 will be paid for one time show. It must be displayed for a maximum of 28 days. For all these, the State Information and Public Relations Department has allocated Rs 18.2 lakh from the Inter-State Public Relations Plan.
