Four women injured, one seriously, in a firecracker unit blast near Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Thiruvananthapuram: Four women suffered burn injuries following an explosion at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Palode, near Thiruvananthapuram, on Tuesday, police said.
The blast occurred at around 10 am, and all the injured were immediately taken to the Government Medical College Hospital in the city.
According to the police, the explosion was triggered by an accidental spark during the production of firecrackers.
"One woman sustained burns over 50 percent of her body, while the others suffered minor injuries, according to preliminary information," officials said.
An investigation is under way, and further details are being gathered, they added.
