Kochi: For the first time in the history of the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB), salaries have been widely delayed. The salaries, which were supposed to be credited on the first of the month, have not been credited to most employees' accounts.
By noon on October 2, a few employees received their salaries. The topic of discussion in employees' WhatsApp groups on Gandhi Jayanti was also about 'salaries'. The Electricity Board has not issued any official clarification regarding the delay.
On Wednesday, employees raised concerns about not receiving their salaries. The reason given is a technical issue in the central server caused by the increased server load due to the bank's semi-annual audit, which delayed the salary distribution.
