His debut alongside Fahadh Faasil and Suraj Venjaramood drew appreciation for his natural acting and distinctive voice modulation.

Kannur, Kerala: A police officer attached to the Special Branch has been booked for causing a road accident while driving under the influence of alcohol. The incident occurred last Friday in Edayannur, Kannur, when the officer’s car hit a culvert.
A subsequent test confirmed that the officer, P. Sivadasan, was intoxicated, prompting legal action against him.
A familiar face
Sivadasan, widely recognised for his role as the cunning police writer in Dileesh Pothen’s Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, has appeared in dozens of Malayalam films. In that film, he played a clever cop who bends rules and wears civilian clothes while on duty. His debut alongside Fahadh Faasil and Suraj Venjaramood drew appreciation for his natural acting and distinctive voice modulation.
Beyond cinema, Sivadasan is a trained panjavadyam artiste, having studied under percussion maestros including Mattannur Sankarankutty. He often participates in chenda melam troupes, pursuing the craft more as a personal hobby.
