A conversation of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and actor Mohanlal will air today, even as Jaihind TV re-telecasts Oommen Chandy’s earlier interaction with the actor.

Thiruvananthapuram: A conversation between Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and actor Mohanlal will be released on Thursday. Titled Kandum Mindiyum Iruvar, the programme was filmed over two days at Cliff House, the official residence of the Chief Minister.
Filmmaker T K Rajeev Kumar is among those associated with the production.
Where to watch
The interaction will be telecast on television channels on Thursday evening and will also be available on social media platforms.
A teaser released earlier generated considerable discussion. It suggests that the conversation focuses on the Chief Minister’s political journey as well as his personal life.
‘PR exercise’
The interaction is being aired amid criticism from the Opposition that the government has stepped up its public relations (PR) efforts with the Assembly elections approaching.
The CPM, however, has maintained that the conversation stems from the personal rapport between Mohanlal and Pinarayi Vijayan.
Oommen Chandy’s ‘Iruvar’
Meanwhile, Jaihind TV on Wednesday re-telecast an earlier interaction between veteran Congress leader and former chief minister Oommen Chandy and Mohanlal, conducted under the title ‘Iruvar’ when Chandy was Leader of the Opposition.
