Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan launches a detailed guide on the Lok Ayukta Act and Rules to promote legal awareness and transparency.

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday unveiled a new publication titled ‘Kerala Lok Ayukta Act and Rules’ at an event held in the state capital.
Brought out by the Kerala Lok Ayukta, the book compiles the Act, related Rules, and all subsequent amendments. It also includes key judicial pronouncements, frequently asked questions, sample complaint templates, relevant government notifications and statutory forms mandated under the law.
During the ceremony, Justice G Sasidharan, chairman of the Kerala State Commission for Backward Classes and former Upa Lok Ayukta, received the first copy from the Chief Minister.
In his address, Vijayan described the publication as “a laudable and exemplary model for all to follow”.
The event saw the participation of judges, advocates, officials and several dignitaries. According to an official statement, the publication is designed to increase public awareness and understanding of the powers, functions and procedures of the Kerala Lok Ayukta.
