Thiruvananthapuram: The much-awaited Christmas-New Year Bumper BR-101 lottery draw by the Kerala State Lottery Department is set to take place on February 5 at 2 PM.

The bumper lottery features a grand first prize of ₹20 crore, while 20 winners will take home ₹1 crore each as the second prize. The tickets were issued in 10 series—XA, XB, XC, XD, XE, XG, XH, XJ, XK, and XL. A consolation prize of ₹1 lakh will be awarded to tickets with the same number as the first-prize-winning ticket in the remaining nine series.

The ticket sales, which began on December 17, 2024, have witnessed an overwhelming response. Each ticket is priced at ₹400.

Important guidelines for winners

* Winners must submit their winning ticket within 30 days from the date of the draw.

* Those winning the first to fifth prizes can claim their winnings by directly visiting the Directorate Of State Lotteries with the necessary documents or through nationalized/scheduled/Kerala banks.

Documents required for claiming prize

1. A self-attested copy of the winning ticket, with the winner’s signature, name, address, and phone number.

2. Two passport-size photographs, attested by a gazetted officer.

3. A self-attested copy of the PAN card.

4. A self-attested copy of a photo identity card with proof of address as mentioned on the ticket.

5. A self-attested copy of the Aadhaar card.

6. A receipt with the winner’s name, signature, address, and phone number, affixed with a ₹1 revenue stamp.

7. A self-attested copy of the bank passbook, including the account number and IFSC code.

Other prizes

The third prize offers ₹10 lakh each to 30 winners, with three winners per series.

The fourth prize awards ₹3 lakh each to 20 winners, with two winners per series.

The fifth prize grants ₹2 lakh each to 20 winners, with two winners per series.

Apart from these major prizes, the Christmas Bumper lottery also includes multiple smaller prizes of ₹5,000, ₹2,000, ₹1,000, ₹500, and ₹400, offering fortune to numerous lucky participants.
