Chief Minister V D Satheesan finalises Kerala Cabinet portfolios, retaining Finance and General Administration, while Ramesh Chennithala secures Home and Sunny Joseph takes Electricity.

Thiruvananthapuram: The portfolio allocation for the Ministers in the V D Satheesan Government has been completed. Chief Minister V D Satheesan will hold General Administration, Finance, Law and Ports. The Home and Vigilance Departments have been assigned to Ramesh Chennithala. Deviating from initial speculations, a major reshuffle has taken place in the final portfolio allocation.
Sunny Joseph, who is also the KPCC president, has been allocated the Electricity Department. Earlier, there were reports that he would receive the Revenue Department. Instead, the Revenue Department has been given to A P Anilkumar. M Liju has been allocated the Excise and Cooperation Departments.
