Chalakkudy: The Kerala Administrative Tribunal (KAL) had nullified the rank list published by the Kerala Public Services Commission (PSC) to the position of Overseer Grade-III at the Public Works Department and Water Resources Department. The verdict also nullified all appointments made from the rank list. 

The tribunal pointed out that the rank list contains candidates who lack qualifications under special rules of both these departments to be appointed to the post. 

ITI (Civil) is the required educational qualification for the post of Overseer Grade III. However, the rank list contained those with B.Tech and Diploma qualifications. The tribunal also directed the PSC to publish a revised rank list.
