KSFE to carry out internal auditing in all units

Thiruvananthapuram: In the background of allegations over irregularities, KSFE has decided to conduct internal auditing of all branches during the last 2 years. KSFE authority has carried out internal auditing in 36 units the other day where vigilance carried out a raid.

Following the internal auditing, KSFE refuted allegations on irregularities in the financial deals of these units. Later, KSFE has decided to conduct internal auditing in the 577 branches from Tuesday.

The team deployed for internal auditing was also directed to collect information on matters including bogus chitties pointed out by vigilance officials.

Vigilance also alleged that KSFE is not depositing the money of chitty in security treasury. In response to the allegations, KSFE has decided to form a committee of managers to resolve the drawbacks related to the estimation of the security.

KSFE is carrying out the internal auditing to prove that vigilance raised false allegations on irregularities.

Meanwhile, vigilance did not recover any original documents from the raid which was conducted without informing the management. But vigilance has collected a copy of the chitty register, minutes and some other documents from KSFE branches.

So far, vigilance did not seek any explanation from KSFE management over the alleged irregularities. Hence, KSFE plans to counter the allegations by displaying the facts.
