Kasaragod native succumbs to Covid; state death toll touches 55

Kasaragod: As the Covid-19 surge continues in state, Kerala reported its 55th death on Saturday. Nabeesa (75), a native of the district, passed away at Pariyaram medical college.

After confirming the virus infection, she was admitted to Kanhangad district hospital earlier. As her condition worsened, she was shifted to medical college.

Apart from old age ailments, she had no co-morbidities.
