Kochi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) interrogated Medical College Director Dr J. Bennet Abraham and CSI Church Secretary TT Praveen on Tuesday in connection with alleged bribery at Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College, Karakkonam, for money laundering.

Both individuals were questioned at the Kochi ED office after being summoned to appear today. The interrogation commenced at 11 am.

The investigation into the Karakonam bribery case is reportedly in its final stages. Allegedly involving transactions worth Rs 500 crores, the case was initially probed by the Crime Branch before being taken over by the Enforcement Directorate.
