Kochi: The Crime Branch has filed the chargesheet in connection with the Kalamassery explosion that tragically claimed 8 lives. The blast occurred at the Zamra convention centre during a Jehovah's Witness meeting. 

Martin Dominic (58), a resident of Elamkulam, is the sole accused in the case.

The charges against the accused include violations of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, the Explosives Act, and the Prevention of Arms Act.

The chargesheet was submitted to the Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court. The explosions were perpetrated by Martin on the morning of October 29, 2023.
