Bengaluru: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister has come out clarifying his allegation that black magic was performed in Kerala to destabilse the state government in Karnataka. In a statement released through social media handle X , Shivakumar clarified that, he had not mentioned that the ritual was performed in Rajarajeshwara temple, Taliparamba. “The ritual was held in a private property which is about 15 kms away from Rajarajeshwara temple. My words were distorted and misinterpreted”, Shivakumar said.
“I am a staunch devotee of Devi Rajarajeshwari. I know that, ‘Shatrusamhara pooja’ was not performed at the temple. My words were distorted and misinterpreted. I had mentioned about a place 15 kms away from Rajarajeshwara temple, Taliparamba’, DK said.
“I had mentioned about the temple to give a clear idea about the location of the pooja. Don’t take out my words out of context and distort it”, he said.
Earlier, Shivakumar had alleged that a Shatrusamhara pooja comprising of animal sacrifice was held to destabilise the Karnataka government. He had said that the information was served from a reliable source. Those who had given the information about the black magic have a clear idea about the way rituals and black magic operations are being conducted in Kerala, he said.
“The yagas were conducted by the aghoris. We have also received information regarding the conduct of a ‘Panchabali’ (five sacrifices). Let them do whatever they want. The forces in which we believe will protect us from these evils. I always pray before I go out of my house”, Shivakumar said.
However, Shivakumar had not revealed the names of people behind the black magic. He had alleged that, the operation was masterminded by some politicians of Karnataka. “We know who had played behind this. Let them do what they want. I believe in God only, not in black magic”, Shivakumar said.
