Thiruvananthapuram: In the missing case of Jesna, a student of St. Dominic's College in Kanjirappally and a native of Mukuttuthara, her father and petitioner, James Joseph, presented evidence in court that he unearthed during his private investigation.
In addition to the evidence, James also submitted an affidavit wanting to know the evidence they possess. A pen drive containing numerous photos has been submitted in court as evidence.
Following the application filed by the petitioner, the court opened the sealed envelope and perused the documents. The court directed the investigation officer to produce the case diary. The case was heard by the chief judicial magistrate Shibu Daniel.
After examining the case diary, if the court finds that the investigation has not encompassed the evidence presented by the petitioner, the court will order the CBI to carry out further examination.
The petitioner also requested in court that the documents should be handed over only to an officer of the SP rank who would investigate the case. The plea will be heard again on Saturday.
